Pacifica was founded in January 2025 by a team of seasoned founders and builders who recognized the need for a next-generation trading platform that combines exceptional performance with user-first design principles and intelligent automation.

Having witnessed the limitations of existing trading platforms - from poor execution speeds and high latency to suboptimal user experiences - we set out to build something different. Pacifica aims to deliver exceptional core trading performance through seamless user experience, enhanced by AI-powered smart trading tools that make sophisticated strategies accessible to everyone. We're not just building faster infrastructure - we're reimagining how trading should feel.

Our core team brings together expertise from the world's leading crypto exchanges and protocols (Binance, FTX, Coinbase, NFTperp), top-tier financial institutions (Jane Street, Fidelity), and AI pioneers (OpenAI, DeepMind, ByteDance), with academic foundations from MIT, Stanford, NUS, and other leading institutions.

This unique combination of traditional finance expertise, crypto-native experience, and cutting-edge AI capabilities positions us to solve the industry's core challenges: execution speed and quality, seamless user experience, and intelligent automation at scale.

Building everything from scratch, we launched our testnet within 3 months and mainnet within 6 months - a testament to our execution speed and technical expertise. We build with best-in-class technical practices while maintaining the principles of transparency and user empowerment that define the future of finance. Pacifica has been self-funded throughout our journey. We haven't raised external capital, ensuring that all value created accrues directly to our users.
