# Stop Limit
> Combine a price trigger with a limit price for the order placed when it triggers.
A stop limit order places a limit order when a trigger price is reached. Set the **Price** (the limit price of the order that will be placed), the **Stop Price** (the trigger) and the **Trigger Condition** price source. Because the resulting order is a limit order, it may not fill if the market moves through your limit price after the trigger.
